East Coast Boys

From 2008 I was the originating frontman for The East Coast Boys,  a band that celebrates the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, with their show, Big Girl’s Don’t Cry. I was instrumental in creating the show which is based around Valli’s distinctive falsetto vocals and the bands extensive back catalogue including songs like Sherry, December 1963 (Oh What a Night), Walk Like a Man, Rag Doll and My Eyes Adored You. Following the success of the musical The Jersey Boys, Big Girls Don’t Cry, has proved very popular on the UK’s theatre touring circuit, satisfying audiences hunger for all things Valli for over 12 years . Originally choreographed by West end’s Carole Todd(Jesus Christ Superstar, Dancing in the streets) and musically directed by maestro Pierce Tee, the show authentically recreates the iconic harmonies that people have had so fondly etched into their memories. As well as the extensive touring schedule in the UK, the East Coast Boys worked exclusively for Royal Caribbean Cruise lines, being one of the first vocal groups to bring the sounds of the Four Seasons to the high sea’s . In 2009 I recorded the lead vocals on fourteen classic Frankie Valli songs for the CD of the show, a video of me laying down the vocals for “Stay”  session has been viewed over 140,000 times on youtube(check it out below) . Over the years the show has gained a very faithful following and to to this day the show is still currently touring extensively across the UK, and it has been known, on occasion for me to step back into Frankie’s shoes.
